Türkiye as the Guest Country at the 46th Cairo International Film Festival

Türkiye participated as the Guest Country at the 46th Cairo International Film Festival, presenting a strong lineup of contemporary Turkish cinema.

The films “Things We Killed” and “The Breath We Take” represented Türkiye in the main competition, while “One of the Days When Hemme Died”, “Kanto”, “Not What You Know”, and “We Need to Talk About Dilan” were screened within the festival program.

With the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, a Türkiye Pavilion was set up between 15–21 November, providing a platform to promote Türkiye’s film industry, co-production opportunities, and international collaborations.

Türkiye’s participation as Guest Country strengthened the visibility of Turkish cinema and contributed to new cultural and industry partnerships.
