Story
Set during WWI, the film tells the love story of a young and idealist American nurse and a handsome Ottoman officer. Turkish sequences of the film were shot at the entrance of the Topkapı Palace, in the Blue Mosque, Rüstem Pasha Mosque, Beyazıt Square and surroundings in İstanbul; Cappadocia; Soğanlı archeological site and Soğanlı Town Museum in Kayseri; Ürgüp, Göreme, Valley of Love and Uçhisar in Nevşehir; the village of Kızılkaya in Aksaray; and Van.
